On the Inside, I'm Crumbling
Tears prick my eyes
And I just sit on the floor
On the outside
I’m just upset
Just some other crying girl
But on the inside
I’m begging for you to be here
I’m reaching out for you
Even though I know that you’re not there
And as a tear slides down my cheek
That wall that I keep up
Crumbles to the ground
And I am left with
A puddle of tears
And these empty words
Tucked inside my breaking heart
