Never is a word
I don't use
Never is a word
That is just an
Excuse
Never is a word
That isn't true
It has a meaning
That I must refuse
For never is a word
That I dislike
Never is a word
That I can't get
used to
Never is a word
That doesn't sound
Right in a voice
For never is a word
That is just so
Cruel
How could you use
such a word as
Never?

I'm not saying anything, I'm just saying.

I like this poem a lot. It's so catchy and the it has a good flow in it. I like the meaning too. It is very simple and true. You did an excellent job with this poem. I agree with LoudDreamer, 5 stars. :D

“I'd rather see a sermon than hear one any day; I'd rather one should walk with me than merely tell the way: The eye's a better pupil and more willing than the ear, fine counsel is confusing, but example's always clear.” -Edgar Guest

I think it is cut a little oddly, but I REALLY like this. The beginning really caught my eye and had me smiling.

“Never is a word
I don't use
Never is a word
That is just an
Excuse”

Wish I’Da thoughta that!

It is a great poem, really motovational. It reminds me of Edgar Guest's poem, "Can't", which happens to be my all time favorite. Great job. No less than 5 stars!
