A Caged Bird
Deep in the corner of the room
Stands a cage with a bird within
Frolicking around, she silently screams
You may wonder what this means
No room, she cannot stretch her wings
And soon she will no longer sing
Where is her freedom, where has it been
Screaming now, for she is closed in
Her wings will bash and hit the wall
Broken and in pain this is her fall
If you never set free what you capture
In pain she will die shortly after
And this will be her last sad song
As you know what you did was wrong
Breathing in and out her last breath
Will you cry upon this sad death?
