Black Rose
You grow deep inside of me
No weed killer will solve
You're withered figure
Will always be with me
No amount of trimming
Will kill you
I’ll have to learn
To enjoy your dark petals
The more you grow
The more I grow fonder
Of your ever-depressing form
Maybe we will like each other
Black rose I never chose
For you to begin living in me
But you had other plans
I can’t do anything to change them
You have the power to kill me with your thorns
But, black rose?
Black rose don’t take away
What I love so very much.
