My Distraction
I see horrible things because we're living in bad times
But he sneaks up to me and covers my eyes
Even though it's dark and I'm looking at nothing
It makes me feel like there's better things to see
I see people fighting I see people die
But it all goes away when he says it's alright
I see people screaming as the bombs start to fall
he grabs my hand and takes me away from it all
I got this feeling like the stars are leaving
panic to find out what I can do
The fires are blazing it's driving me crazy
But then he says I love you
I see innocent people bleeding to death
These cruel images are scanning my head
I close my eyes But they are still There
But when I feel his warmth they disappear
There's a loud noise as the bullets start to fly
When they hit the walls the holes are large and wide
I see a bullet coming my way
But it turns into a rose and then appears his face
Bombs are exploding bullets are floating
I scream out that it's not true
It blows off her hip then turns into a lip
Saying I Love You
