Wax Museum
Walking down the cold, dark halls,
trying to look past the walls
and all the games we like to play.
Smiling faces, crying eyes.
Nodding heads and hidden lies.
Fake is the only thing that seems real.
Perfect hair with a flawless face.
Impossible is what they chase.
No one dares to accept any less.
Plastic personalities.
You'd think there'd be fatalities.
with the "norm" inside these four walls.
Let me clue you in little girls.
Now you live with rose and pearl,
but of course its not for always.
One day your plastic faces won't be worth a thing.
And truth and honesty will bring.
This wax museum to the ground.
Once that wax melts and those statues are all gone.
It'll be time for a new day to dawn.
And real people will take your places.
