I’ll Cease to be, a man
Whose Heart and Mind Diminish
At the sound of a Disheartening Song.
That song of a Woman’s long and tearful Cry
,And the gathering pedants soft and thoughtless Sigh.
Our Debates, Drawn out and soon Wrong
; Discussions Cease, and Finish.
Once gone, Cease I’ll be
;A man , too soon, I Fear you’ll see.
