Resounding-
your voice in my ears,
over all the others telling me “no-
don’t be yourself,
individuality’s a loaded gun;
watch out or it’ll all come undone:
a bullet through the head &
a cut off tongue.”
Be the same and keep my life
or
be myself and keep my pride.
Decisions,
decisions…
This wont end well.
Decisions,
decisions…
I choose myself.
So here I stand
proud & tall
As I utter my last words
loud for all:
“take my tongue-
my eyes speak it all.
Take my life-
I will not fall.”
