Titanic Poem
My name is Mr. Percy Andrew Bailey
I am only 15
I was an apprentice butcher
My father must miss me
And so must my mother
Oh how I wish I could see them again
I sent them a card to tell them I love them
I know that will never be enough
Terrible memories replay in my head
Screaming, thrashing, people still Sleeping in their beds not knowing What is coming
I had given up hope of ever being Saved, I felt every ounce of pain
Like a thousand knives had stabbed Me. I saw the bodies of those around me all frozen to death. I knew this would be me, for there was no hope. My life faded fast, my eyes began to close, my heart slowed its beat until.. I was no more. I hate this feeling, the one I have now, laying in this watery grave never knowing what my life might have been, if the Titanic hadn't sunk maybe something could have been.
