I Like To Think
I like to think that the day I died
That somebody out their cried
And was actually sadden to see me go
And not just going with the flow.
I like to imagine that the day I died
The bluebirds flew and the burgers fried
And that all in all it was a pleasant day
Where the sun never went away.
I like to believe that the day I died
No one around me ever lied
About things they have said to me
And if they did I would let them be.
I like to think that the day I died
No one saw how much I cried
Or knew how my dreams were fried
Or ever knew how much I lied.
