I Hope You're Sorry
I found you
Found the one,
Or so I thought
Love makes you blind
Made me blind
It was all fun and games,
But just for you
You say you’re sorry
I don’t think you understand
“Love” is not just a word
For most it means happiness, joy, and trust
For you it must have just hid your lust
A deceitful cover, no love for me
I don’t think you’re sorry
Take your things and go
You’re not welcome here anymore
Leave and take the hurt
It’s yours for the taking
Belongs to you anyway
Are you sorry now?
I hope so
I hope you get your love torn away
Someday you’ll understand
Then you’ll be sorry
When I think it’s over
Your face reappears
Always have to get to me
I hate you now
And you know the why’s and how’s
The start of something great turned bad
A happy ending turned sad
Dig deeper and the sorrow grows
Love turn sour,
If that’s what that was
Look harder and the reason for the hate appears
Denial can be bliss
Without it the pain is fresh
No more pain needed here
I’m in charge now
No more “Love” from you
I know better now
Rather forget my time with you
You can’t get to me now
I see your face no more
I’m done with you now
Finished
