Depression
Nothing is how you want it and no one is who they seem.
People fake smiles so no one sees their broken hopes and shattered dreams.
It's those quiet children whose emotions teeter back and forth on balance beams.
Some stay quiet and others act out.
When it comes to pain, some slowly die while others quickly fade away.
No one plans on becoming depressed and I'm pretty sure no one ever wants to be.
It's just another phase in our so-called reality.
