Death's Environs
You laugh in red blood. Whose you do not heed.
Corpses cover the floor. Bloody and ashen.
You howl in protest, wanting more feed.
The bodies are in a grueling fashion.
You see no sun, moon is the savior.
You bend down, and lap blood from your own kin.
You screech in glee at your behavior
You look around, and see a deadly sin.
The thought of death fills you with contentment.
You look around, in awe at the death.
You look at your bloody, flimsy containment.
You rip open for yourself a breath.
In the far distance you hear the sirens.
Run, child, run to death’s environs.
