Comes to Pass
The shadows shine through
Through the brightest of days
But they haunt her on a daily basis
Even when they seem invisible
They are still in existence
Never ceasing to remind her of the past
Bringing old things to present and still to future
The struggles may never come to pass
But there is hope
Always something to look forward to
On the darkest days, light may shine through
A retrospect time may take over,
Where the old is no longer
And the new becomes the future
