Worthless
Me and you, we were perfection.
Like a sunny august day, not a cloud in the sky.
You loved me and I loved you. Forever.
Or so I thought.
Something changed. The wind shifted.
Suddenly, our sunny day turned to a cloudy one.
And all those sweet words, all those deep conversations went to s***.
We talked of love like we knew what it was. Like we were living it.
But we weren’t and love is never enough, is it?
So you left me. Sitting here wondering, “should I have done it?”
And I still sit here today wondering the same thing.
