Discovery
The sunshine streams through the open window
Refractions of light dance from the swaying crystal
Broken glass made beautiful
The child wakes from his deep slumber
Hair a-fluff and eyes wide in wonder
He reaches with his chubby hands,
Towards his sparkling flower
Face like porcelain still splashed with moving colors
Drams flash across with innocence,
Innocence only a child could muster
Attention seems never-ending
Beauty sends the mind ascending
To assume this child stays in place is a mistake,
For only those without imagination stay in one place
