Invisible

As time slips away,
I see it in your eyes.
I see through your lies,
I can see you’re hurt day by day,
And I see you come up with excuses anyway.
You hope to be invisible just to get by.
You try so hard to hide who you are,
And go through life like a ghost.
Out of it all the one thing I hate the most,
You keep your life in a jar.
You shut it and lock the key in a moving car.
You almost had it all, almost…
