Afraid To Let It Out
The sound of your voice,
Tickles my insides.
I’m left in a trance
By your hypnotizing eyes,
Oh, the things I would do
To see that smile again.
You’re a sweet caring person,
And a wonderful friend.
Your jokes and stories
Fill my heart with laughter
You take me to another world
One with passion and glamor.
The music you make
With your magical fingers
Plays with the strings of my soul
And claims me your prisoner.
I wish you could know,
How I feel about you
But I don’t understand it myself
And I don’t know what to do.
Should I tell you all about
How much you mean to me?
How you are my drug and
The only thing that makes me happy?
Or should I torture myself,
As I do now?
Keeping it all inside
Afraid to let it out.
