a memory of used to be
A memory imprinted in my mind
Is the one I treasure most of all time
The perfect pact of friendship we had signed
Slowly ran out, like a bell’s final chime
Another Cinderella tale come true
I will not look back on the ties severed
I really did not wish this upon you
Not a last glance, goodbye forever
You left and you didn’t know you had my heart
I healed like time does, but I kept you close
Though I am still attempting to restart
Losing you was a lethal overdose
I have conflicting feelings but I still love you
Now that you’re gone I no longer rely on you
