All Night
I wrote, I’ve written, and I still write.
Maybe one day to be read by a knight,
Handsome in the face and tall in height.
My ideas are as cleaver as a key on a kite.
But success I reach followed with delight.
My words are spoken bold and outright.
Unfortunately I am not outspoken despite,
I have been known to stop many a fight.
As a student my future was looking bright,
Be a teacher they said, I think I just might.
I went to college and immediately took flight.
I soared through books never taking it light.
Every book I read my mind took a bite.
My cap is on, fitting somewhat tight.
My gown is flowing and dazzling white.
This dream will happen if I have to stay up all night.
