Dehydration MAG
Dehydration.
Leaves shriveled
Color fading to brown
Hopelessly dry roots
Sand-like soil
Weakened stem
Life draining away
Then,
One fat raindrop falls from the sky
The earth greedily sucks it up
And it's gone
Another falls, then another
Soon they're coming down in
Showers
The dry flower is touched
By the cool droplets
Energy floods back into it
A wave of strength fills the stem
From the now-spongy soil
Where damp roots are working gleefully
Healthy color is revived as
The leaves are indulged with
Hydration.
