If you could hear the music
Playing in my heart
Maybe you would finally understand the joy
Spreading through my soul

If you could only see the colors
Dancing behind my eyelids
Maybe you would finally understand the exhilaration
Enveloping my mind

If you could feel the warmth
Wrapping around my life
Maybe you would finally understand the energy
Charging through me

If you could taste the sweetness
Filling my mouth
Maybe you would finally understand the content
Lapping at my feet

If you could smell the fragrance
Entwining my thoughts
Maybe you would finally understand the peace
Soaking my emotions

And yet you eyes stay closed in peaceful slumber
As I wait for you to wake up in the fragrance and warmth
So that you and I may dance among the colors
Swaying to the music and tasting it's sweetness
