You hugged me in comfort
To make my problems go away
Sometimes
You can make me laugh as if
Everything will be fine
But this time
I held on tighter
As if your arms could crush what I've seen
Like I used to think they could
And make the memories subside
I've realized that hugging isn't helping me anymore
I don't feel any better
Yet I'll still keep holding onto you
As if my life depended on it
Because I didn't want you to let go
And make me remember everything
Alone
