Luminous Dawn
Luminous dawn that shined that morn
Amidst my strengthened sorrow
A smile bares a hidden spark
To flame into tomorrow
And dawn will come day and day
Yet noticed it is not
Among the stars and glistened haze
Simplicity will rot
And yet, there’s you amidst this world
Amidst this crash and burn
You that fuels my deepest fire
Amidst my heart so stern
Dawn in line with him, with you
Every day a light
When darkness burns into space
Drawing close the night
Sun is mere a different sign
When I stand alone
A rising of my silver soul
That seems to go unknown
Call me sweetly, mild, and warm
We are so far gone
Empower me with amber eyes
Amidst the luminous dawn
