Goodbye.
Goodbye.
Cancer,
The killer of love.
One word can put that person’s life on pause.
Their purpose in life, their intention
Flushed down the toilet.
As the doctor calmly says,
“You have cancer”,
We have caught it too late to do anything,
We will try our best.
Nothing- is guaranteed.
That is the worst sentence anyone could hear,
In their entire life
You have incurable lung cancer.
Her and her daughter drop to their knees and cry.
Their screams echo throughout the long corridor,
Of that empty hospital.
They gave her a date,
May 16th 2014.
She died-
That day at 6:08pm
