It wasn't me, that say
The monster inside me took over
Once again
I tried to explain but you wouldn't listen
You were arrogant
Not wanting to learn about my past
Because you knew it would change things

Change was the one thing you were afraid of..
Always wanting to keep everything the same
It didn't last long
till you saw me
the other side of me
It scared you
you walked away
Till I was no more....
