Because Memories Are Cool Like That
The pulchritudinous ambiguity,
In the crooked edges of sparring sentiments,
Bitter-sweet memorabilia,
Unsymmetrical, imperfect beauty,
Scattered across.
The unbecoming sense of all that once was,
Whisked away, as it hung from memories.
Lashing past, the silent wind,
Bellowing, in mind and consciousness,
It's cumbersome grip,
Strangely congenial.
Reignited recognition,
A spark of remembrance, returning,
To a mind, lost in perplexed befuddlement,
Cruelly comforting, its grip, unceasing.
The unbecoming sense of all that once was,
Whisked away, as it hung from memories.
To memories, it returns,
In memories, it thrives,
As memories, it lasts,
All that once was.
