Hawaii
Hawaii is my favorite place to go
With beautiful beaches white like winter snow
The sun is a sizzling desert in the sky
As colorful birds swiftly fly by
Like hula dancers, palm trees sway
While I wear my pretty, sweet-smelling lai
A rainbow as colorful as fruit
Has a beauty that is absolute
The ocean is shimmery and clear
Like a gigantic, sparkling mirror
Next I snorkeling where schools of fish pass Down below coral, as sharp as jagged glass
The sand is like diamonds, glistening in the sun
Squishing your toes in it is always great fun
I feel the water, cold as ice, against my feet
But it cools me off from the blazing heat
I try to build sand castles as tall as I can
But they only end up as tall as a can
Waves tower high like giant trees
And end up knocking my onto my knees
The exotic food comes out, the table is set
I scarf it all down as fast as a jet
I’m extremely sad when the day is done
I go outside, calm as the sea, and watch the setting sun
