We Are Dead

We are all dead I tell you
Dead to the world
Dead to life
Dead to creativity
We have been imprisoned
We have been captured
We have been shot down
They took away our essence
They took away our thoughts
They took away our being
We can not think
We can not move
We can see though
We can see things happening
We can see people move
They have taken all but our vision
We see what goes on but we are dead
One day we shall be awaken
One day we shall come back
One day when we are alive
