My Tale to be Told
One night I was sunk into a bar
By two greedy men
We were there all night
And into the morn
A little man came into this place
Tell me that Death has come to face
The life of a poor innocent man
Filled with rage we all began
On our way to find Death
In the paths of the town
The three of us found an old man
Covered like a mummy
We asked him where Death should be
And why he looked so crumbly
He answered right behind the tree
Is where Death should be
Where he cheated him
So we found the tree
With tons of money
I wanted to go
But the other two said no
Wound up in the village again
Getting these two drunken men food and drink
I thought I was smart by poisoning them
Until I came back to think
They beat me and beat me
To no end
By then I was announced dead
Soon were they, too
Ghostly, I found him
Death has sought to be
Over our shoulders
Should've known not to be greedy
