Just because I look white doesn’t mean I’m not Mexican.
Just because I’m not fluent in Spanish doesn’t mean I’m not Mexican.
I’m as much Mexican as you are.
I embrace my culture and who I am.
Why can’t you?
I see the way you look at me and look down on my family because we’re not “pure”.
You may be thinking ‘Who’s the gringa?’ but I am as much Mexican as you are.
