You look so happy.
Your smile reaches your eyes.
Cancer stole you away
To no one's surprise.
People never could have guessed
You were soon to be deceased.
Strangely happy and loving
For someone so diseased.
Cancer had brought a side
I'd never seen before.
A side I loved so much
But wouldn't see much more.
