One thousand miles away, it says, typed up on that map.
One thousand miles away from me; how do I handle that?
I want to see your face close up and look into your eyes.
I want to feel the warmth of your touch and hold you by my side.
If you were here I would kiss your lips until we fell asleep.
If you were here I would whisper how I love you, oh so quietly.
I would never have to miss you because you would be near.
I would never have to cry these tears if only you were here.
