ME + COLLEGE = FEAR
I’m afraid of going to college
For example, I have never been
So good at math
I know there are 360 degrees in a circle
But what does it mean if
My roommate and I
Aren’t complementary?
I don’t know the difference
Between distance and displacement
But I know I’ll be many miles
From home
I can’t tell you how many radians
But I do know how many
Homemade berry pies
I’ll be missing
And the ones you get out of
A rectangular prism
Just aren’t the same
If I flunk out of college
It won’t be because of English
But it could be math
Because if you start with me
Then subtract my home
My family
And my friends
I’m not sure what’s left
