The Sea (working title)
She takes walks at night
Shadows still follow
With the sea at her feet
It seems to swallow
Her, but she’s so hollow
That she just hums and listens
To waves thrashing
It’s a familiar occurrence
In fact, it’s her only assurance
And she’ll close her eyes
But it doesn’t stop her from seeing
The memories that run through her head
Forever and always bleeding
