Erosion of Strength
Waves crash against this rock
Continuing their siege
The rock still stands
Unyielding and strong
The rock remains
But after each blow
An imperceptible piece
Is carried away by the ocean
As time passes
The water assaults the rock
Wearing and tearing
Eroding the rock away
Once large, strong and unique
Now identical to any river stone
It will never be whole
Its strength eroded and taken
Forever lost in the angry sea
