Auburn shaded leaves
Falling without a sound
Slight winds whisper
The cold is coming.
Innocence in a sweater
Walking through the sleepy park
Jumping into the seemingly endless
Piles of rusted orange
Autumn has engulfed us
Setting us in our beds
Tucking us into the deep sleep
That comes before the freeze
