Accept people for who they are, gender, race, sexual orientation it doesn't matter, we all walk different paths with different goals and interests.

Gray, dull
and dreary
The sun doesn't
smile over head
There is no grass,
only mud instead.
There are no smiles in
the chambered halls,
Nazi symbols leer on the walls.

And still she believes there's
good in everyone.

The numbers have
replaced their names.
There are no girls
among the boys.
Sent to the left or to the right,
No
one
lives
past
Midnight.

Still she believes
there's
good
in
everyone.

See their faces
See their pain.
What was there to gain?
Nothing more
not even a name
Shallow eyes
and Nazi lies
Chaos, Fear
and blame.

Despite everything
she believes there's
good in everyone.

There are no tears
among the fears.
They have nothing more
then who they are.

Still she believes there is good
in everyone.

Taken so suddenly,
Grabbed so hard.
Don't know why.
Only one rule
don't cry.

Still there is good in everyone.

They had no hope.
Agony replaces
the innocence.
Lives are taken
blame is placed
eyes are sunken
gone without a trace.
People are abused
lives disappear.

Still she finds good in
everyone.

Anne Frank puts us all to shame.
When the Nazis found the Jews to blame
She lived among the animosity.
And died in the atrocity.
That is the Holocaust.
And Still.........

Still she believed there was good
in everyone.

"Love is not someone you can live with, love is someone you can't live without."

"Always stand up for what's right even if that means you're standing alone."

So depressing, yet so hopeful at the same time. I loved the flow of this poem and it was extremely well written. Great job and keep writing!
