Old Friends
A boat
Worn out, from years of service
Comes to rest.
If you were to row him
He would creak
But here, here he is silent
As the cemetery.
He is not alone
Though he looks it
The water is his friend
She comforts him
When he wishes
For old times
For she does not miss them
She is comfortable
With her life
With her friends
The boat
The old dock
The sky
Her old friends
They will rest together
For eternity
