I pledge allegiance
To the flag
Of the United States of America
And to the controversial culture for which it stands
One nation, under whatever deity you choose,
Indivisible since 1965,
With liberty and justice for all who can afford a decent lawyer.

God blessed you with this life, make sure you live it

This is a great way of showing the way America really is. I love it :)

This is nice, it shows the other side of America, without being disrespectful or anything. It's great!

People come in and out of our lives for a reason, the trick, is knowing when to let them go.. and when to hold onto them even tighter.

if you were mocking the downward spiral into which our once great nation is falling... i loved it! but if you were serious... i think i want to go pray to God on your behalf... and cry.

"Remember what they say. 'There's no shortcut to a dream. It's all blood and sweat, and life is what you manage in between."' -Lyrics from "October" by Broken Bells

Haha, this is great. It perfectly portrays the negative side of America that most people seem to overlook. It was very funny, too, even if that wasn't your original intention. Good work(:

Wow, this is good. It really captured what happens in America. Maybe you weren't trying to make it funny, but I thought it was.

I am the author of my life. Unfortunately, I'm writing with this pen made of my own bone, it's ink my blood; and I can't erase my mistakes.

awesome =D

Last night I lay in bed looking up at the stars in the sky and I thought to myself, where the heck is the ceiling.

A lot of poems here are repetitive, but yours is fresh and witty so I just had to comment. Nice job!

Naa..don't say that..

This nation has helped many peoples...

Although there are some really Fudged up people in power....the Good citizens are what keeps this country together and sane.

Its the citizens who abide by what this country was founded on...the Declaration of Independence.. human rights...

its inspired the world...

And up until the last few decades...it was continuing to do so..
