Apple baskets
With side of butter

A feast he would make
A cake he had baked

Ingredients..
Of what we were
In stored for..
For the rest if that day

He spoke with passion
And gave no reaction
As we tried the grub
He prepared

A silence at first
Something new had emerged
These green eggs and ham
Were great!!

We thanked him
For all he had done
And the cat tipped his hat
