Color Blind
Blessed be the mind that sees beyond color
To believe in the truth and see me as another
We haven't forgotten our roots nor family
But will no longer be chained unsoundly
Free must we live and forever we know
That knowledge is first before any foe
To break us they try and try they can
But we shall never be taken as "real men"
Until the time comes when we are one
No longer separated, seen as fathers and sons
People and life, decisions made right
Is the truth we desire, the reason we fight.
We are free now, looking for our place
To find it where we can, amongst any race
Left with much past, and great dis-pair
Yet still with hope, living as though without any care...
