Blood Red Rose
Green stems intertwine,
A stylish emerald vine,
Glowing rubicund pedals held by the stalk,
Anyone whose eyes gaze at that is sure to talk,
Small piles of pollen lying gently in the buds,
Thick, penetrating thorns attached to the stem, dense,
Giving the beauty defense.
