Window Poem
Walking up slowly to that door,
Not wanting to open it up.
Looking through that window,
Seeing people chatting, laughing.
None of them I know,
My loneliness doesn't show.
Making new friends isn't easy like elementary,
Clicks, drama, full of it all.
I want this time to race by, hurry up fall!
New classes, new features,
Of course missing all my old teachers.
I feel like a baby bird trying to fly on my own,
Crash landing of course.
Nobody to talk to, or ask for help,
"Last year," I tell myself
