Fly away
I want to go away
Somewhere so remote
That in the sea I'm the only boat.
I want to leave my life on a bus
Just run from the people that treat me like dirt
To a place where the torment does'nt hurt
I know that life is to be cherished
But sometimes I want to die
But living is the only way I can fly
So I must run far far away
Take the last ticket to paradise
And hope that when I roll the dice
I land far, far from their torturous ways.
I want the gentle wings of a butterfly,
But with the strength of a dragon
And to fly free from the mocking bird's embrace
I need to have wings to burst from this cage
I need to fly to an island
Where no raven can hurt me.
