The Dark
The lights will dim again one day
just like they did before,
you'll be in dark once more,
just like you've waited for,
and when the light go off this time
you'll be the one who's right,
the one who hates the light,
the one that dimmed my bright,
your eyes will be the ones that see
they'll penetrate the dark,
it's you who'll set the mark,
it's you who'll be the spark,
and on the day the lights go dim
you work will be payed off,
your heart; it may defrost,
no longer bear that cross,
but in the end will it make sense
to live without the bright,
to sacrifice the light,
to give up all your sight,
just for the day when you'll be right?
