Cinderella
So I guess I’m not Cinderella
The dress wasn't mine to wear
Prince Charming did not come for me
There’s no tiara in my hair
I have no good friends to speak of,
Even of the mousy type
And as for my fairy godmother,
I don’t see her in sight.
Ten minutes drag
As I dance alone with my broom
My slippers stick
To my feet alright.
It’s safe to say
I’ll be staying on earth
This dreadful, dream less night
