Is this what love is?
I've never felt this way before,
Like life is worth living,
You don't slam the door,
Whenever I walk in,
You brought back my dying smile,
You made tears become those of joy,
I haven't felt this blissful,
Since my days with my old boy,
You make me feel like I am rain,
You know that I'm not a sunshine girl,
I've always been called insane,
For playing with a book instead of dolls,
But you know that we are the fruit loops in a world of cheerios,
You know that over earring hoops,
I would choose my black dress,
You know that I care for you,
As you do for me,
We are peanut butter and jelly,
Cheese and macaroni,
Not the same without the other.
I think I finally know what love is,
It's this.
