She Ran
Quickly and scared
She ran, she ran
Angrily she fled
Running, running
Closely she got away
From falling, falling
Sadly she hid her face
The tears fell, they just fell
Stupidly she believed
Believed it was real,
Stupidly, stupidly, stupidly
Tightly she grasped every moment
Of peace, of numbness
Desperately she searched
Searched for something concrete
But there was nothing. So,
Steadily she went to her own place
Inside her own head she ran.
She just ran, away.
