Sinking
Seeing in perfect view,
Beautiful blue skies with white sand,
I can hear the ocean’s plea,
I kick up sand with each stride I take
I start to sprint,
Only to fall in the sand again,
I sit there and pick up sand,
Watching it slip through my fingers
I dip my feet into the water
Going deeper and deeper
Slimy green seaweed wraps around my legs pulling me farther in,
I try hard to inhale,
Water gets in my nose
I just accept the fact that I am drowning
No one can rescue me,
I’m lost inside a place,
Where no one can discover me,
Myself
